"Sorry, Sorry", the lead track from Super Junior's third album, won first place on Channel [V]'s "Asian TOP 50 Year End 2009" music chart in Thailand based on the number of requests the song had received during 2009 via the Internet and post mail. Furthermore, "Sorry Sorry" ranked first in the 2009 top 100 singles chosen by Taiwan’s radio station Hit FM which holds the largest amount of listeners in the country. The title track reportedly received 250,000 votes in the survey consisting of online votes, listeners' requests and Hit Fm's weekly music charts Other hits by Super Junior included in the rankings were “It’s You” at 11th place and “Super Girl” at 29th place. In addition, "Sorry, Sorry" help its No.1 spot on Taiwanese music site KKBOX's "Singles Top 100 Weekly Chart" for the 30th consecutive week.

However, Super Junior's attractive magnitude is not limited to just Taiwan. By the end of 2009, they won two awards at Korea's 2009 Golden Disk Awards along with the best album prize for their hit album "Sorry, Sorry". Since debuting in 2005, Super Junior surprised the world with their first big hit single "U". Hopefully, Super Junior will be able to maintain itself despite the internal struggles such as Hankyung's want for termination of contract with SM Entertainment and Kangin's absence because of an alcohol related incident last year.

While Super Junior is largely dominant in Taiwan, it is by no means the only performers in the spotlight. Other K-pop artists on the top 100 singles chart include “Love Like This” at 7th place and “Déjà vu” both by SS501. Also, “Paradise” by T-MAX ranked 35th, “Ring Ding Dong” by SHINee at 39th, “Gee” by Girl’s Generation at 45th, and TVXQ’s “Share the World” at 79th.
