SportsChosun is reporting that soon after the release of their first album, U-KISS has managed to take the top spot on the album charts from SNSD.
After releasing their first official album, "Only One," on the 3rd, U-KISS managed to reach number one after one day of sales on Hanteo's Real-Time Chart. In addition to the Hanteo Chart, U-KISS has topped the charts at Synnara Records, Hot Tracks, and Evan Records, and has also conquered offline album sales.U-KISS was able to beat SNSD in sales, although they had a great response to their eye-catching comeback last week. The album sales are further building expectations regarding their new single "빙글 빙글 (Round and Round)," which is produced by Brave Brothers. U-KISS is set to have their comeback stage on KBS Music Bank on the 5th, MBC Music Core on the 6th, and SBS InkiGayo on the 7th.

Unfortunately, not all news has been good for U-KISS as plagiarism accusations have already been brought up. One of the tracks off their new album, "Bang Bang Bang," has been criticized for being too similar to Sean Kingston's track, "Fire Burning." It has been stated that Brave Brothers did not produce this track. but Han Sang-Won who produced tracks for Kara's first album ("Break It" and "If You Wanna") did.
although the VST they used to make the music is the same, the notes and the order they play them are not totally similar, so whether or not it was copied is a matter of opinion

i like u-kiss song still. Jeeze, why are there always accusations of plagiarism...not just in kpop either...i mean, lots of songs sound similarish...because people influence one another..especially if it's a similar genre. Regardless, I'm happy for U-Kiss reaching #1 but Bang Bang is definitely not my favorite song on that album anyway
no comments on the plagiarism issue. but i think the person who made the video was pretty awesome. i'm not really attuned to similarities of the songs, but the way he did the comparison made it so much clearer
whatever the case is but i'm so happy till dead that Ukiss beat SNSD!!!wohooo!!!!i don't care about the plagiarism coz SNSD did the same too...(OH!= Shut Up and Drive)
well..we have our opinions but the real deal is leaving it up to the artist that is being copied to deal with it! If it comes out that they plagiarized then they did...oh well..I really like U-Kiss but I like originality too! so hard to choose!
im excited to c dat UKISS is finally getting nationwide attention right now!they deserve this from their hard work! leave the plagiarism to the production managers to deal with. Afterall it's just the beats that's similar, not the lyrics and arrangements! UKISS FTW!
