Kahi and BoA exchanged words of encouragement and good wishes with one another in the waiting room on the 3rd during the 19th Seoul Music Awards.

Before Kahi became the leader of After School, she was a backup dancer for BoA. Kahi received attention back then for her powerful dance moves and charming good looks. She can be seen in BoA's music videos for "My Name" and "Girls on Top." In 2005, Kahi stopped working as a backup dancer in order to become a singer.

After School received the "KPop New Artist of the Year 2009" awarded last month at the Billboard Japan Music Awards. BoA also took home the "U.S. Billboard's Publisher's Award 2009" at the same ceremony.

BoA's 7th album, Identity, has recently been leaked. This 13 track album will be releasing on the 10th.
