SS501's Kim Hyun Joong and SooAe have been casted for the upcoming movie You Are My Pet.

According to a staff member involved in producing the movie, "SooAe and Kim HyunJoong has been casted for the movie "You Are My Pet" as the female and male leader characters. The movie will be directed by Kim ByungGon."

Also, Kim Hyun Joong's agency says that they "have not finished the process of signing the contract." and that they "will confirmed everything by middle of the year."

Tentatively set for a 2010 release, the movie is based on a 14-volume Japanese manga Tramps Like Us released from 2000 - 2005 and made into a 10-episode anime first aired in 2003 from April to June. It revolves around a fashion magazine editor (Soo Ae) and a pretty boy (Hyun Joong).

Soo Ae has acted in numerous dramas such as the lead in 2004's Emperor of the Sea which she gained critical acclaim for. Kim Hyun Joong was in the hit series Boys Over Flowers earlier this year.

in japan arent matsumoto jun and this older actress (dont care about her) made a drama for this manga too? entitled "kimi wa petto". (that makes me just want to kill the actress for being intimate with jun in most of the drama scenes...)

and does this mean the same thing going for Hyunjoong? the bathtub scenes and blablabla. (dont want to remember) NO!!! hope they alter some scenes unlike the japanese version though...
